Banking Enhancements on the Horizon

Timeline

Thursday, October 4: FTSB will be open normal business hours.  Online banking will not be available after 12:00 PM until October 8. 

Friday, October 5: FTSB will be open normal business hours.

Saturday, October 6: FTSB drive-up windows will operate normal hours. (8:30-11:30)

Monday, October 8: FTSB offices are closed for the Columbus Day holiday, but our team will be available 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM to take your phone calls.

Tuesday, October 9: FTSB offices will resume regular business hours.

Debit Cards

  • You will get to keep your current debit card.
  • Debit card balances may be impacted, but will be updated to accurately show Friday-Sunday transactions during the afternoon of Monday, October 8th.
  • The Shazam Bolt$ app will remain the same.
  • If your card is ever lost or compromised, we now have the ability to issue you a new card instantly at the Buffalo Center office.

Online Banking

  • Online banking will be unavailable Thursday, October 4th at 12:00 PM until Monday, October 8th (late morning). During that period, information about transactions will be available by calling any of our branch locations during business hours.
  • Effective Monday, October 8th, you will login to the new online banking by visiting our website as usual (www.ftsbbank.com). 
  • You will login using your existing username as this will not change.
  • Your temporary password will be your existing username plus the last four digits of your social security number (SSN).  For example, if your username is JDOE and the last four of your SSN or TIN are 1234, then your temporary password is JDOE1234.
  • You will be prompted to select a new password followed by new security questions and answers.

Please note: When you login for the first time, you will not see running transaction history prior to October 5th.  However, all of this history is viewable within the “statements” area of the new online banking.  You will have access to 24 months of statements with images. Statements may not be available until after October 12th.

If you need statement history prior to October 4, 2016, we encourage you to use the current online banking system to download, save, or print those statements by October 4th. (Email reminders will be sent to all Online Banking users at the end of September.  Watch for an email from online@ftsbbank.com.)

Bill Pay

  • All existing bill payments that are scheduled prior to October 3rd at 4:00 PM will be processed as expected.
  • Bill Pay will be unavailable Wednesday, October 3rd at 4:00 PM until October 8th.
  • All Bill Pay information, including vendors and scheduled payments, WILL convert to the new Bill Pay.
  • New: Business Bill Pay

Mobile Banking

  • Mobile banking will be unavailable Wednesday, October 3rd at 4:00 PM through Monday, October 8th at approximately 9:00 AM.
  • Beginning October 8th, our new app will be available for download by searching for “FTSB Mobile” in your app store. The new app will direct you through re-enrollment in this service.
  • Remember to delete the old FTSB app on your device.
  • All of the same features you enjoy with our current app will be available including mobile deposit, bill pay, funds transfers, ATM locator, and more.
  • New mobile features include access to eStatements and account alerts.

External Transfers

You will now be able to set up your own bank-to-bank transfers. This will be available through online banking or by contacting your local branch.

Telephone Banking

Effective October 4th, we will be discontinuing our Telephone Banking service (accessed at 1-888-818-2696 or 641-562-2891). If you currently utilize this service, we encourage you to contact us about other convenient options for you to monitor and perform the same functions on your account.

Statements

  • All accounts will receive a statement as of October 4th. You will also receive your normal statement based on your current statement cycle.  This means some accounts may receive two statements in the month of October.
  • Account fees (if applicable) will not be assessed on the October 4th statements.
  • Your statement will have a different look. You will see running transactions with balances versus separate sections for deposits, checks, and balances.
  • Statement cycles will stay the same, however statements may arrive a day or two later than they currently do.
  • The email statement and eStatement process will remain the same.
