Individual Retirement Accounts

Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) are specially designed accounts to help you plan for the future. Farmers Trust and Savings Bank offers two investment options (see below) to fund Individual Retirement Accounts whether you are opening a new account or rolling over an existing account.

• Traditional IRA
• Roth IRA
• Self Employed Pension Plan
• Simple IRA

You have two options to invest your IRA funds:

1. Variable Savings Account - Rate is based on the 4-week average of the 26-week US Treasury bill rate plus a margin of 0.25% above the index. At our descretion we may pay a higher rate than computed.
2. Certificate of Deposit - Posted Certificate of deposit rates plus 0.25% for terms of one year or more. Please refer to the current rate sheet.
